Sangtawonpattana School began in 1992, founded on a vision to create a warm, safe learning space that nurtures every aspect of a child's development. What started as a small kindergarten with just 45 students in its first year has grown steadily into today's school for early childhood and primary education.

Sangtawon Pattana School was founded on a strong commitment to advancing education by Mrs. Pongpen Sangtawonthongtarn, the school's founder and director — driven by a determination to create a space for learning where children could grow in knowledge, virtue, and wisdom alike.
"Raising good hearts and sharp minds — through learning that is joyful and safe, we grow the whole child: strong in character, bold in leadership, rich in creativity, and rooted in the wisdom of sufficiency."
The idea of "สร้างคนดี มีปัญญา" — Building Good, Wise People — has been one of the core foundations of the school's approach to education ever since, carried forward through continuous development to this day.
1992 — The Beginning of Sangtawon Pattana
Our Beginning
The school opened under the name "Saengjun Kindergarten," offering kindergarten education with 45 students and 5 teachers in its founding year.
Over 30 Years of Learning and Growth
- 02 · 1994
A Step Forward
The school relocated to a new site and built a two-story school building, and was renamed "Saengjun Pattana School."
- 03 · 2000–2005
Expanding into Primary Education
The school began expanding its curriculum into primary education (Prathom 1–6), completing the expansion through Grade 6 by 2005. It was renamed "Sangtawonpattana School" — the name it carries to this day.

Education Rooted in Virtue
The school adopted the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy as part of its approach to student development, aiming to nurture good character, discipline, and quality growth alongside academic knowledge.
- 05 · 2023–2024
Expanding Our Learning Spaces
In 2023, two additional kindergarten buildings were constructed. In 2024, the school expanded its land by 1 rai, 2 ngan, 32.6 square wah, bringing the total campus area to 8 rai, 67.40 square wah — supporting future growth in learning environments and student experience.

From a beginning of just 45 students, Sangtawonpattana School grew from a belief that every child has potential, and can thrive when given opportunity, care, and the right learning environment. Over more than three decades, the school has developed not only its buildings and grounds, but its curriculum, its people, its learning environment, and its approach to caring for children — growing alongside the world while keeping warmth, closeness, and individual care at its heart.

Basic School Information
Sangtawonpattana School is a general private school under the supervision of the Office of the Private Education Commission, Ministry of Education. Located at 30/7 Phiphatmongkhon Road, Soi 2, Kut Pong Subdistrict, Mueang District, Loei Province. The school offers education from Pre-Kindergarten through Grade 6.
Established on 16 May 1992 on an 8-rai campus, founded and directed by Mrs. Pongpen Sangtawonthongtarn.
